Le Village is the name given to a family business working in an atmosphere that resembles a small village.
The forty employees working there because its way, a bit like home, and this partly explains the success of this extraordinary company. For Hervé Scrive: "respect for the work rate of people here is very important and the quality is to go.
Since 1993 Nadine Hervé Scrive manufacture and ship models in Madagascar. Models, handmade and high quality that has made their reputation in the world.

They recently opened two shops in Mauritius that are not only their models but also other quality handicrafts and antique furniture of the Big Island. The first is to Tamarind on Royal Road (just next to CEB) and the other at Ruisseau Creole (Black River). For the second boutique, models of the family are exposed Scrive with great talent alongside productions of other artists from Madagascar: Walter and Marie Paule Nogues (WoodMap creations) who show their card giant planet or region made of inlaid wood.

In any case, the village has grown to a small town to come if you follow the metaphor: the company just completed a status of SA on 1 January 2010 and has just taken as a partner in Madagascar Isabelle Salabert.
Indeed, Nadine is now based in Mauritius and Hervé being in charge of international development, the association became indispensable in the Big Island.

On the ship models, models are of breathtaking beauty: the Provencal pointed to the ships passing by exclusives like the popular Pen Duick, the models follow plans from museums around the world . More than half of production is exported, either through specific orders, or by tourists who bring with them the model of their dream child properly packaged with all necessary paperwork for export.

Shop windows were decorated in the grand hotels of the capital to the hotel Kaleta Madagascar Fort Dauphin, the Grand hotel in Tamatave Diego or the gallery The Original.

Le Village is one of the few workshops in the world performing the entire production in-house with local precious wood. A method that allows a strict control of quality and the realization of unique drawings.
