• Vessel of first row with 104 artillery thrown to CHATTAM in 1765, the H.M.S. VICTORY remains the most famous of vessel of British line. The abbey of Westminster by the historian PHILIP WATTS was nicknamed.

• Thrown in MAY, 1765, the H.M.S. VICTORY 5th of the name required 6 years of construction before taking the sea.

• The H.M.S. VICTORY participated in numerous battles under the command of Sir HORATIO NELSON the most famous of which stay of Trafalgar in 1805 against the French and Spanish fleets.
It is during this battle that Sir NELSON was killed and returned in England in a barrel of brandy. Nowadays, Victory is anchored in the port of Portsmouth.
