"Savoie" was one of the "boats of Meillerie" which operated on Lake Leman, until 1948, transportation of materials, including the famous stone Meillerie used in many buildings in Geneva. Built in 1896 the Belotte, shipyard near Geneva, by Prudent Brocard Saint Gingolph for Mr. Peray of Meillerie, disarmed by the result and finally destroyed it was rebuilt with the same from 1997. The new "Savoie" was launched at Thonon on 11 June 2000.
