When T.O.M Sopwith contacted Nicholson at the end of 1933 to draw out the lines of "Endeavour", he asked him to work with a team made up is his own specialists, among whom was Franck Murdoch.

Construction of Endeavour began after at Gosport in the illustrious CAMPER and NICHOLSON shipyard, founded in 1782 by Francis Calense Amos, launched on April 16th 1934. The Nyyc retains the Cup with the winner RAINBOW but it's that of me runner-up Endeavour which will forever remained engraved in memory. In 1989, Endeavour has embarked on a new career.
