• The number of DRAGON, born in 1929, exceeding 2000 in the world and 150 in France. The series, known as Olympic games of 1948 and international in 1949, was adopted in 27 countries and continues to grow. The Norwegian Johan ANKER architect wanted to create a racing yacht that allows three people to make small cruise ships, whose construction cost and maintenance are reasonable.
• The holding in this sea of monotype is universally known (through more than 300 miles nonstop made ten years ago, on a pure racing Dragon, Plymouth - the Trinity, in 53 hours). This boat is primarily marine, thanks in particular to the design of its hull and its 1,000 kg of ballast placed low (length 8.90 m - Wing 24m2). The Dragon is fast in all weathers and exceptional one near it remains perfectly workable in its sole mainsail.
